Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 from 1937 to January 19 January 19, 2008) was an American film, theatre, television, and voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and appeared in films in late 1950s. Later, she was an important actress in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a frequent guest on various television productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on January 31, 1937. The parents of her were Jewish and were the children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
