The pop star was born November 26, 1986, in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo as well as her maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. The family relocated from New Point Pleasant Jersey when she was 6. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in architecture. Her first violin lessons began in the age of four and was known as Violin Girl. Performances by her led to being called Violin Girl. She gave violin lessons to kids in the area. She performed Free beginning in 1976 during her audition for American Idol's sixth season, aged 19.
